We are parked up at LT, be warned if you are here or coming family all coming on Saturday, give our MH a wide berth if you spot it

But talking to Susan, by the end of season there will be a new access road, still down the same lane but closer to the junction

That will come in behind the shed at current entrance, carving though ‘our’ rally field

So we need to relocate next year, will discuss options with Susan before we leave on Monday

Some other work around the site, a random earth bank and it looks like some trees have been cut back I have never seen so much of Rutland Water, or the water level this low

I have seen birds close to what is now an exposed island but never seen land

New for 2026 season will be toilets, showers and washing up area, just south of the track through to the barn pretty much dead centre

Not sure how this might change things here

Talking price , I have found out today that at site managers discretion you can leave your motorhome here unused for a reduced site fee

We are leaving it here for two nights to go to a funeral , returning Saturday, you can’t book it on line but had I not booked the next two nights I could have paid £6 / night instead of £16

We are regulars here and Susan has said she will add a day to our next stay just book one day less than we want

As for next year, will have to hope the extra numbers they might attract will keep the price down, but the extra numbers will probably stop us coming in school holidays at least

Just so you can pack appropriately , they have an open bbq ban and certainly no fire pits
