Posted a mundane ad on Gumtree late pm and hey presto early next am there is interest but instinct tells Screenshot_20221003-193020_WhatsApp.jpge to beware

Strange offer and he will no doubt go on to say he'll arrange collection first and pay upon receipt costing him just the price of a courier. As long as he pays in advance there's no problem.

I think that there could be some way of scamming by saying not received and paypal recovering money from you?
 
Gets posted when the payment is securely in your bank account.

Ask where he is in the country, you might just get lucky and have, say , an uncle in that area he could pick it up from ;)
 
Had similar many times , I knew it was a scam just couldn’t figure how they were going to do it
so I Just went along to see when the scam was going happen , what happened is I got a message from the so called courier to pay the insurance on the delivery, strange but true 🤕
