We are heading to Brussels next week and, arriving in Calais at 2000hrs approx, intend to stay at the above Aire.

Camper Contact gives the address as Rue Marechal Foch but Google Earth doesn’t seem to show an Aire in that area. Any information on the Aire?

I know we could stay at Cité d’Europe but would prefer to be out of Calais, (about 30 minutes to an hour).

just look at gravelines

@rb62
Many thanks.

I was looking in the “wrong” half of the street!

@chaser

We tried to stay at Gravelines last year and it was closed off.

That’s why we didn’t consider it. Is it back in use?

do you mean the one by the marina , if so iv never seen it closed

Stay at the Citi du Europe near Calais. We were there two nights ago and there were 30+ vans . Just up the road is dump etc at the Carrafour petrol station. VERY SAFE PLACE TO STAY.

Yes, that was the one.

We tried to stay there early last year. The area was dug up and traffic cones blocked access.

If it is back in use we would happily use it.

Yes, we’ve stayed there several times in the past but fancied a change. We wanted to have a walk along the river bank and into the village the following morning before moving on.
