Hi.
I have a 1999 Autocruise Impala. Above my toilet area (bench style c200 with electric flush) is a tall cupboard where we keep chemicals and shower stuff. Only noticed today there are two rotating vents at the very bottom, inside the cupboard. They are similar to but not same as air vents in rest of MH for heating / circulation.

Why do I have vents inside the cupboard?

I would hazard a guess that their function is to allow air to circulate and keep the area dry and sweet.

Those rotating air vents may have been fitted by a previous owner for some reason and not be a standard issue.

Checked with another Impala owner And they have them too.
Not a problem but curious as to why they are there?

Perhaps they are there so that you don't gas yourself but are hidden away so as to be discrete and not advertise the fact that you are a pongo? :D

If they were ceiling then yes, just ventilation. But Inside the cupboard and under bottles most of the time......
The cupboards primary purpose could be as an airing cupboard for towels and spare sheets etc and the vents allow a little fresh air to enter.

Probably the shower, being a damp environment would cause things in the cupboard to go mouldy without the airflow.
