Ailefroide campsite in the French Alps

Anybody been to the campsite at Ailefroide?

I know that on the drive up you have to go through a tunnel a few kms before the campsite with restricted dimensions that I've read is only suitable for "cars and small buses".

We are 7.2x2.3x2.9m and I am wondering if we will fit through!

Would also be interested to know if the drive up is a scary one. The campsite is at 1500m
