I have noticed that a lot of funsters rate AIB insurance, as my car insurance is due, I had a look on there website, to find the following statement. Minimum premium of €333 applies to all policies. Does that mean that this is the cheapest insurance that they can supply.

I would think if you are already insuring a motor vehicle of any kind for less than £300 I wouldn’t be shopping around in your position (y)

Are you looking at www.aib.ie which is Allied Irish Bank

https://aib.ie/our-products/insurance/car-insurance

instead of the AIB which is often mentioned on here

Had a quote off them recently for motorhome and reasonable price..

However, I read reviews on the insurance company they were recommending and they were so bad it put me off totally.
So get a quote BUT check who the policy will be with (y)

Also asked for their take on Green Card the other day ,no response .

First paragraph below informs you of their view on the green card, that was issued February 2018.

Yep there was a thread running a few days ago re green card "If/when " we leave the eu lots of different opinions and if we do leave we would no longer be a member country.
So for clarrification I suggested getting it from the forum member that pops up now and then @AIBinsurance but got no response .
But cheers for the above (y)

Also answered another Q as well

I was insured with AIB last year but the renewal price had gone up by £40. They then dropped it from £248 to £190 in the space of two phone calls.

The caravan club then guaranteed to beat their price by £25.

We’ll see what happens next year.

poor customer service never ring you back .when you phone them back for final price its more expensive than lots of other companies .

I am insured with them for our cars, they lost the MH due to an odd technicality where we couldn’t increase our annual mileage

What I find annoying is they take maximum advantage by telling they have new staff in the form of a free advert posting, then appear to ignore threads with links to them in :(

£300 sounds expensive to me, about half that is what I usually pay for each car, though the MH is more but includes european breakdown cover.

I see 2gether didn't last long on here, they promised a lot.
