AGM or efb

Looking for two new batterys.. Mainly offgrid use, I have 130 wt solar. Recomdations please. Thanks for your help

Depends on your type of use and what your charger is capble of supporting.
I wouldn't use AGM they are very unreliable for leisure use.
For off grid use 130 Watts of solar is nowhere near enough, we have 300 Watts and its not really enough.

Depends on how much money you've got!
Lithium would be nice. EFB's are great, I've got two and so far so good. Don't forget, you'll have to vent them though, but like any wet battery they should only gas if charged incorrectly.

We managed off grid with a 40w free standing panel when the van was new, 2 weeks in Scotland. That's probably equivalent to an 80w flat one though.
Got a 150w panel and 85ah gel battery now and it's been enough even in the UK.

I've recently installed the equivalent of the Yuasa L36-EFB 100AH which has rave reviews from A&N (http://www.aandncaravanservices.co.uk/battery-technology.php). The halfords HLB700 is the same battery only with a halfords label and only cost £88 with the account discount which anybody can apply for

The latest AGM leisure battery to hit the market place which you may want to consider. There are other manufacturers also producing too.
