Is it normal for my two AGM leisure batteries to get warm when plugged into mains overnight with the heating on, they are new Varta 105 APH batteries and are just getting warm not hot.

You need to let them charge fully, they should get up to 14.7v, then the charger will hold them at 14.7 for the absorption phase which maybe a few hours then drop to a float charge of around 13.6v.This is the reading with everything turned off and on EHU
We picked up our Hymer Exsis in September 2019, which came with the EBL 30 (AGM setting enabled) and Banner Running Bull AGM onboard, hence my interest. I spoke to both Banner and Schaudt both said they would be fine on the Gel setting, lying bar*steds.
