We will be visiting the Lincoln show from Devon and wondering where we should visit in that area after the show. We have three weeks. Looking for suggestions of where to visit and stay. We have electric bikes and like to use them as much as possible and don’t mind a bit of wild camping.

If you want a full site job, lakeside a don arnut site used to always have special offers after the show for staying there. It’s got a pool, clubhouse, lovely shower etc. Don’t know if with the current situation they still do it.

Rutland water is a great area for walking cycling and an all round beautiful area. Lyndon top camping recommendation if you don’t need leccy and have some levels. The bottom field has amazing views and right near the water.
Oakham, Uppingham, and Melton Mowbray are in the vicinity.

Linc's aviation heritage centre is a good day out, and i believe you can overnight there as well.
Bluebell inn at Whaplode st Katherine, near Holbeach, great food, micro brewery, and a motorhome stop-over.
Then you could venture into north Norfolk !!

Jim’s basic 5 star site is not far away, there may be a free bar the week after the show, on second thoughts there won’t be. Okay for a bike ride to Mablethorpe and back.
