Due to damaged vertabrae i think attaching a drive away awning is beyond me - but i wonder if the camper van awning with a good tie down kit and a good wind break would give me a porch style place to sit in beside the side of the Adria twin i'm waiting for. Im aware the awning on this vehicle is just a sun shade - share your thoughts

We use ours with these windbreaks/sunshades from Lillypad Leisure. We also have the third net for the front.

We have the Thule sides and a front for ours, rarely use in Europe but we do use these and they are great
Works like a roller blind on its side Thule windscreen

AFAIK Lillypad Leisure are no longer in existence. Contacted the owner a couple of years ago and he said he has ceased trading because he is retiring.

For simplicity I am considering one (or two) of these.

The only thing with a wind out awning you will find the material jumps about and flaps in any breeze no matter what you do and it is annoying and noisy.
Don’t leave it out when you go off site seeing. We left ours once on a lovely calm sunny day, a mini whirlwind went thru & threw the awning over the van.
