Looking at buying a used van but this is not one of the really open questions? ( I hope)

The motor caravan will have to be van based as I can't get a "square" traditional motorhome up the side of the bungalow due to the eaves gutter. Vans appear to me to be just over 2m wide(excluding the mirrors which fold in anyway) and the vans all slope in at the top(away from the gutter)

Also, the van will spend a few months in the south of Spain so it is hoped that a "tin" van will not have so many issues as a traditional motor caravan in the 40 degree sun day after day!

Length not an issue.
Preferably 4 berths and 4 belts.
Appreciate everyone has their preference but we will go for a front dinette and rear lounge.
Weight 3500kg or more but that means the children will have to take C1 so that's their problem.
Payload 500kgs plus
Must have a good max train weight(yep and the kids will need +E)

Anyone have any suggestions for a van range to look into?
I've discovered that "most" older vans 04 ish don't have cab AC which I think is a must.
Price range willing to go up to around £30K so a 2013 and older model.

Many thanks

Nik

Even when mirrors fold in they will still project a little from the body. Current Ducato PVC would be 2.27m according to the Autotrail dimensions.

Dimensions for height are harder to identify. Yes the van may be slightly narrower top than wheelbase, but probably not that much. Don't forget there is also things like awnings.
