Advice please for insurance (1 Viewer)

Hi I'm looking for insurance for my Motorhome
8 years no claims
Age 47
Van will be in locked storage
Possibly only around 2-3k miles per year to start with
Any recommendations please

Have been with Camping and caravanning club some years - consistently good price compared to other quotes on an '05 van. Just looking to insure new van - massive quote from CCC. On new van 'Comfort' came out much better - chatted to guy at AiB yesterday - (their quote came out high too) - he guessed that my 'low quote' was Comfort) - happened to say that for reasons he could not explain Comfort tend to come out good on new vans (and have 2 years new for old) whereas they, AiB, (and others) beat them on older vans. So the 'best' company to try could depend on the age and value of the van ..... (we have home insurance with CCC - can be away 180 days - have to be a member to get this but worth it for that alone)

Used Comfort and Safeguard but Comfort usually wins and just renewed with them for 5th year on the trot

Safeguard for us. Always get alternative quotes but they come up the best.
