Above is a rather boring picture of a water tank on Chausson 628eb of 2018 vintage.

I have some water purifier but my question is this. The very large screw cap on the side of the tank (pictured). Is that designed to be removed for some sort of cleaning or should it be left alone?

Any advice gratefully received.

If that's on the side I wouldn't remove it. Our water tank (different MH) has such an access but also a sticker saying if removed it must be re-sealed with silicon sealer. You can introduce sterilising stuff through the normal filling point. I dissolve the tablets I use in a watering can of warm water first. 😀

It's only so you can have a look inside, when and if nessarary. Not important.

Good tip......now why didn’t I think of that? I’d like to think it’s because my brain is fully occupied with theories of nuclear fusion, or some such,......but maybe not!

Thank you all very much. I shall leave untouched.
Kind regards
