e tired looking sealed areas can I reseal these if so can I go over it or get as much out and redo also what to use

What ever you do, do not use silicon sealant. It is a bugger to remove and nothing will stick to it if you need to do a later repair. Use Sikaflex or Puraflex. If it already has silicon repairs remove them totally, I mean really remove all traces. Suggest dig out old loose sealant, enough to give a decent size repair bead of sealant. Mask up along edges for a neat edge. Remove tape before the sealant sets. Check over the van for any stray sealant as easier to remove before it sets. You can do this, just take your time.

Sikaflex 512 is best but expensive. It tends to stay white longer than some of the other sealants. Get it online.

Thanks 68c?

Thanks for that 68c it’s just after I polished the van I could see wear the cab joins onto the Hab area the plastic which has a seal on it looks like it needs redoing and as I’m new to this do most van owners do this to the vans to keep them in good condition
