4th MH/Campervan - Getting progressively smaller!
like many others I am struggling to get Calor propane and currently have a 6kg and a 13kg bottle. No one will exchange the 13kg for another 6kg so I am a bit stuck.

I therefore wondered if a 6kg and 13 kg might fit in our soon to arrive Adria Twin SGX and am looking for someone who already has one to give me the actual dimensions of the locker. The spec says it is big enough for 2 x 11 kg bottles but I would guess the 13kg is taller so may not fit.

any help appreciated, thanks

Cant wait, we ordered it in September for a March delivery but we still don’t have a firm date.

Taken from another thread, cannot confirm.

Internal measurements of Gas locker H 75 cms W 40 cms L64 cms.

Thanks for that, the 13kg bottle I have is 61cm high (31.5 dia) so it might fit if that gas locker size is correct and the regulator is high enough. We are currently expecting delivery in July so I will know then for certain.

Just had another look at the difference between the SGX and SLB Gas locker doors.
The SGX door opens to the side, the SLB door opens to the rear.
Don't know if the dimensions are different.

i think they will be the same height but the SGX may be narrower judging by the garage space. Howsever, I think it is the height that is critical as the 11kg bottles are, I believe, the same diameter as the 13kg ones

Yeah .
I am thinking about getting an underslung tank fitted and eliminating the gas bottles.
Plenty time to look into this, I am waiting for delivery, was due April and have been told August.

Hopefully ours will come a few weeks earlier than that, when was yours ordered? Our order date was 25th Sept 2020.

I would be interested in your choice of underslung solution once you have decided where to get it from as that may be a much neater solution. We have ordered the maxi chassis so hopefully payload will not be an issue.

Sure.

I've also ordered the heavy chassis with nearly all the options, 180hp engine, auto box, hab air-conditioning, full leather and all the packs etc.

Should be some van.

Not quite as fully specced as yours although we are having the same engine, gearbox and packs. We chose not to have leather or habitation air con as we had that in our last mh and only used it twice in 7 years. Gone for the solar, big fridge and soft close though.
Very much looking forward to getting the call that it has arrived.

Yeah, was unsure about aircon but decided to go for it, I thought the storage under the fridge would be more useful.
Will also have the Solar and 2nd hab battery.
When I have a confirmed date I will be booking a slot at Vanbitz to have a Growler alarm and non starter fitted.
