I'm a newbie
Trying to drain down the truma combi 4e boiler but can't see a valve to do it.Any ideas.

Mine looks like this and is situated by the boiler.

Lift the yellow lever--- You should have an automatic frost valve on the boiler that will open at about 3 degrees.

No yellow valve to be seen.I wonder if you drain it using the frost valve which.is about 2 ft. Away.

Do you have a frost valve, just turn the lever on top 90 deg and make sure the button at the back has popped out.

Many thanks everyone.Do you suggest I leave the frost valve open until I next use it.

If its to winterise the van yes.Best to leave all taps open in midway position also. Drain fresh water and grey water tanks empty and valves open.

I have the Mb Hymer B 680, the whole moho is reliant on the ebl unit, when the voltage drops to about 10 volts the heater dump valve opens and drains the boiler

If you can’t find the dump valve try disconnecting the battery for a moment ? Then check underneath and watch for the water coming out

All done let the winter do it's worst. Many thanks.

Eh? That's a new one one on me.
The battery voltage? Why would you let the voltage drop to 10V - that's a knackered battery?

That could OBVIOUSLY be a number of reasons, but trust me if I disconnect the leisure battery the little valve thingy opens and dumps the boiler water

Those are the old ones the modern ones are mechanical no electrical connections.

If I turn the power off to the taps water system on control panel water heater dumps
