adria twin supreme
We ordered a new Adria Twin Supreme 640 SLB in October and were given a February delivery date. It's now May and the dealer is unable to give us a firm delivery date due to shortages of components at the Adria factory. They tell me it is at Amber status - build not finished.
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems and has any advice on how I could expedite my delivery.
Thanks

I know there is a shortage of Fiat cabs as the Fiat factory has been on short hours due to the pandemic, no doubt other parts will be on back order also due to Covid. This will also affect other converters and not just Adria.

I'm afraid to say it but you're in the hands of the Adria gods.

Globecar is having the same problem and their big German forum is reporting many months of delays. There's a few guys on that particular forum who have now been waiting 12+months.

My comments above don't help (sorry) but there's no way that you can expedite anything with the current gloabl production issues as is.

Good luck and I hope it comes in the next month or two.

We were told by 2 Dealers in late February that FIAT was 16,500 chassis short of fulfilling 2021 Orders because of the pandemic, and that a 'build your own spec' m/home would probably have a late 2022 delivery date, or even 2023 ... Brunhilde was delivered to us from Essex on a Low Loader that also had a new Adria that our Dealer had sold to Struans at Perth to meet an 'Off the Peg' order.

Sorry your only options are to wait or cancel
Ordering any van that a dealer has not in stock is a lottery re delivery times when things have been normal and things are far from normal
Even getting your hands on a unconverted van is difficult
As Blue Knight says waiting list were long even before covid

Truck industry suffering the same with component shortages
Volvo and Scania quoting April 22 delivery on one factory ordered today

I have a MAN TGE van on order the factory has had to shut due to semiconductor shortages.
We are rapidly running out of stock for our business despite ordering in advance as suppliers are now seriously struggling with raw material shortages and massive price increases.

Our dealer pre warned us of this but as it happens we went with Bürstner and he suggested they’re very efficient and he collects his own vans to prevent port delays too. Sorry to hear of your delay but hang in there you’re almost there 😊

We had a six month delay with our Sunliving by Adria in 2016. We had the option to wait or to cancel. We waited and it was worth it :)

To be fair this is not port/transport issues, it’s semi-conductors ( or flux capacitors or summat)

But I hope your chassis comes soon 👍👍

On the same subject what sort of delays are people experiencing with Baileys on a Peugeot chassis.?

I ordered a Twin 640 last October, delivery was supposed to be 14th April, now been informed delivery expected August, we'll see.

To bravely go where no funster had gone before. When we can get a regular supply of dilithium crystals Jim.

Not just vehicles . In the building trade cement is in short supply.

Posted in error - fat fingers!

Same problem for spares. I have ordered a new control panel that needs to come from Carthago in Germany. Have been told mid June (maybe)

If you can put up with LHD (We prefer it, as we do 90% of our touring in Europe), we have a 2021 Adria Twin Plus 640SLB in the classifieds. All sensible extras, brilliant van.
Available now. Silver with16" alloys. We bought it back from Germany to be our Patented Cabbunk photographic and video vehicle but we don't actually need it this season,.

I have ordered Adria twn sports sgx640 in 2021 June, first delivery was exected in 2021 October, and from then it's delaying. Last deadline was 2022 May, but revceived notification from dealer, our delivery is postpone to 2022 september. I asked dealer, to get answers from Adria on circumstances.

The problems continue - i ordered the Adria twin October 2022 - no sign of it - no progress
