We are still looking for and looking at our first motorhome. Have just come across Adria and Carado brands, does any one have experience of either of these. If so would you please share your thoughts?

Both good vans. Carado are a cheaper German made part of the Hymer group.
Adria also good. You get a lot for your money compared to other 'named' brands.
I would buy a good example of either.
Thanks Machzoneman, had seen the Data to on the Hymer (Travelworld) site, looked good value v spec. I know nothing about the Adria however hence the query.

Anything pre 2016 is well made. After that cracks appear in the build quality since Trigano took over Quoted form a Adria dealer that was too? We have a Adria sonic and its build is spot on. I believe the Coral and the matrix are really quite good too?
Dont think you can go wrong really when you consider what you get for your money. We are chuffed with ours........That is......I am! My beloved is thinking differently at the moment though but i hope to persuade her into believing in ours a little more ? We can but hope??

Thanks Kev, I'll keep that in mind. Although I have looked online at newer models. I guess the simple answer is to take a look.

We have a Adria Vision A class for the last 10 years and cannot fault it,
We went to the Düsseldorf show 5 years back thinking about a replacement, but to be honest
Nothing came close in quality of build for the the money then our Adria so five years later we still
Have her,

Also very happy with our 2009 Adria Coral..........no problems at all.
If it is thought quality has changed recently why not buy a pre 2016 model. Then any faults will have been sorted.
If you buy a new model I think you become the quality control point....................certainly sir bring it back and we will fix "blah blah" but that can be a real hassle.

Like Kev above we too have a Adria Sonic, just got it and we’re loving it, it seems very well made and doesn’t seem to rattle when on the move. It’s a keeper???

2014 Adria Matrix 670 owned from new, 50k kms on the clock and as sound as a pound. Well built, comfortable and the interior looks as good as new.

I would buy another for sure. :)
Thanks Falcon 269, very positive review

We are the 2nd owners of a 2016 Adria Matrix 670SL, 50th Anniversary model. We are generally very please with it, however there is one thing which could be improved on, the maximum weight in the garage 150Kgs is a bit on the low side when compared with some other Coachbuilts. other than that its proven to be a good choice for our first MH.

Thanks Derry Wilson, I would be a bit concerned overloading the rear axle.

Own an Adria Coral 660 SP.

Bought it for the layout that is as close to perfect, for me except if I designed it for myself.

The van has proved reliable and comfortable.

Now had quite alot of replies praising the Adria range, however not one for the Carado range !!! Perhaps this tells me something, or simply no one on here owns one !!

Bought our first motorhome in 2014 after our first mh experience when we rented a 2 berth Maui in NZ. It’s a 2005 Adria Coral 680SL, they say you are lucky to find your ideal layout with your first purchase and we have been very lucky. We really like the U-shaped lounge and feeling of space and light.
