Hello, has anyone got any experience and can give any information on the Adria Compact DL please, driving, storage space etc, it all looks good on paper but nothing like genuine users options 😆 thank you

Can't give "user" opinion but we did give the Adria Compact serious consideration at the beginning of the year and had look at it both at the dealers and at the NEC show in February. I was seriously impressed with it as a van it seemed quite roomy and had a good amount of storage space. Only things we didn't like was the tambour door on the shower - stuck occasionally and lack of headroom in bedroom (if you want to sit up and read you bang your head on the overhead cupboards). Other than that it seemed good value.

We ended up buying a Rapido, but that's another story.

We have an Adria Coral, I know its larger than the compact but the build quality and the chassis will be much the same.
we have had it from new in 2012 been absolutely great , pleased to say no issues with build or any requirement to go back to the dealer for any repairs etc,. the chassis is a standard 2.3lt Fiat 130. drives well and is man enough for its needs . have had a few issues with the FIAT but that could have been on any motorhome build.

would not hesitate to buy another Adria.

I’ve also got an Adria Coral, older, but it’s still fantastic, very well made and nicely finished. Good luck with your purchase/shopping.

Thank you both for your feed back, it really helps to get other views, the shower was something we thought may be a bit small especially now that the shower blocks will be closed on sites etc, thanks again.

We have a Matrix and love it. One of the first features we look for in a van, when buying is the shower, Stand inside and metaphorically drop the soap. Can you pick it up?
Like you we expect to use our shower for washing and not as many people do, use it as a store room. We use Aires mainly and there is rarely an alternative.
