Here's a video that explains it quite well. It's for the desktop version, but it's pretty much the same in the mobile version:


On the mobile version you just move the magnifier around until you like the colours.

Ah! I saw the eye dropper but thought it was a colour picker or something like that. Many thanks.

For those who haven't got Gimp and want to see how to do it in Gimp I just put a quick video together.

The video was captured, edited and uploaded using opensource software in under 2 minutes. Great for hobbyists.
