Soon after we left the campsite at Maryport in Cumbria I noticed that a warning light was illuminated on the dash. I had no idea what it was so I pulled over into a lay-bye to have a look at the manual. I was relieved to discover that it was only the adblue warning, having previously read that it came on over 1,000 miles before it became critical. Coming down the M6 we decided to stop off at Killington Lake Services and have a break and pick up some adblue while I was there, 'just in case'.
I do have a 10 litre container of adblue at home and topped up the 'van before heading for the Outer Hebrides earlier in the summer, so was slightly surprised by the warning light coming on. Saying that, I had some difficulty getting the adblue to go into the tank and seemed to be spilling as much as was going in.
To my surprise as I was walking to the service area to purchase some adblue I noticed an adblue pump next to the diesel pumps. I expected to pay more than I did for my ten litres from Halfords but I was wrong and so much easier than filling it manually
Are these adblue pumps common, it's the first time I'd came across one?
