I have a IPhone 14 and get the usual Ads constantly popping up, l see these advertised AdBlocker Apps that purport to stop PopUps, do they work and any recommendations which one to choose if they do.

I use Adblock Plus on my laptop. It's free and brilliant. You can select it to apply to all sites or just your choice of sites. I rarely get any pop-ups or drop-down adverts - maybe just one or two a month.
