Action - the French B&M

Thanks for that, even though not going to France this year

They had good electric hook up cables last week and a great folding table

We always hit Action when away, hubby likes their socks so usually stocks up and there's always something in there that we didn't know we needed!

The treasures I bought include;

a camping bungee washing line with built in pegs for 2 euros

a blow up foot bath (I do miss a foot soak when away in the van for a lengthy period) for 1 euro something

Oh, and a fishing magnet!

Discovered the French equivalent of B&M/Home Bargains.

A French woman put me onto it.
It's called Action and there's loads of them about.

I was in it for 15 minutes and spent 50 euros on essentials (tat)

It would have been rude not to look!!! The craft selection looks great - and cheaper than here.

Oh it is. I bought sketchpads, varnish, acrylic pens etc etc! Half the price of the UK.

I always loved to go into Gifi when in France but Action is far better and cheaper!

It's one big "Middle of Lidl"..

You leave the shop amazed at how you've survived without the things now sat in the boot of your car.

Always happy with the quality/price of the stuff we've bought there.

I thought they were telling us that fish is full of mercury.... another scam then 😂
Ah, but it's only slightly magnetic so not proof one way or the other! :giggle:

It's already been caught twice though!

Action, not French in origin but Dutch ... and we have a new one opening in Cartagena next month, much to the Navigator's delight.
My old Yanmar marine diesel ran exclusively on Action's 5w30.
