Is it falling out of favour ?

Just arrived at third ACSI site of this tour to be informed they no longer offer discounts on the ACSI card.

Interesting development. Previous two sites were very cheap anyway but this one is almost 28 euro per night for the two of us with electricity. Still not too bad as on the edge of Beaune.

Are the sites in question, that advised they no longer offer ACSI rates, listed in the 2022 guide to discount camping locations?

The owner of a site in Millau last year said the fees for being in ACSI are very expensive and they came out of the scheme that year... But he still gave us the ACSI price ❤️🤩

Nice result. I haven’t chosen any of the sites due to ACSI it’s just on booking in at reception if they have to lose tee up then I ask first. All have said no longer accepted.

Interesting and one to keep and eye on.

I think you’ll find quite a number left & a few joined. The Viaduc site in Millau left & lost nearly all his acsi customers to the one next door who was charging €16. We stayed with him but wouldn’t go back as the standard of cleanliness had dropped significantly. The one in Beaune didn’t seem to need acsi people as it’s on the route south/ north & close to town. Overall we think acsi is worth it as the price is there in print & 7/6 or 14/12 is a good deal when available.

Depending on what direction you are heading next you are not too far from the lovely town of Dole and the free Motorhome parking in the heart of the town. We were there last month for a second visit.

Site we are currently on on Necker Germany has left Acsi
Used card on a couple of sites so far.
It seems a fair number of German sites have dropped out of membership. Still big thing in NL
Personally I have broke even this year so far.
ID card is handy but not sure I will renew next year?

Yep it’s handy as an ID card too

We were in acsi at the start of our motorhomeing when we had to be in everything but only used it twice, once in st Maxime where he had a price list on the gate showing lower prices than the acsi price and another time in Andorra where he shoved us round the back in the bins, never used it again and didn't subscribe again as by this time we had discovered Aires.
