All the gear, and no idea!
Hi, just ordered the ACSI pack, card, book and app. I only got one book for UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Ireland, which is the wrong side of Europe I want to go!! should there be a 2nd campsite book for the other half of Europe?
Downloaded the App (I have a unique access code) but annoyingly lake garda comes up straight away with a few sites (I haven't paid for anything off the App) but when I go into Buy and Unlock, it wants more money off me for different countries even the ones in the camping book I have just paid for!!

So basically have I just paid 23 euros for the discount card and a book, and have to buy countries on the App?

There should be two books. ACSI not always helpful, I had my purse with card in stolen in March and ACSI will not replace it or give me a note that I can use at campsites even though I know the unique card number and have proof of using it before it was stolen.
For the purchase of the books each year I always use Vicarious Books who are very efficient,

As Riverbankannie has stated, there should be two guidebooks to cover the whole of Europe (at least the countries that participate in the ACSI discount scheme).

Must admit I have always found them very helpful.. you can understand them not wanting to replace your stolen card.... you may have sold or given it away...
we have a direct debit set up with them, they send the books each December and take the money from my account... works well

Yes, you have bought the guide, but, that's not the discount card, although the book does have a discount card.

If you follow tge second link posted above, you'll see that the camping card combi is €20 something and includes two books and access to the app.

On 3rd van so not a total newbie....
We've never used sites in Europe, only ever using aires, arr they worth using? Typically what sort of prices are they for a "standard" site?

I HAVE bought the card, I have it in my hand, I have 1 camping guide for Britain,Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal. I have the activation code for the app in an envelope, what I don,t have is the other half of Europe (does it come separatly) and the know how how to use the app (I can't find anywhere to use the activation code, all it wants to do is charge me for downloading different countries)!! It cost 23.95 euros. I have also bought the ID card 4.95 euros which hasn't come yet.

I have gone into my ACSI and checked my basket, it say's Guide, card and app.

Eight Years and 28,000 Miles.
I believe there are two purchases available from ACSI, one is the guide you have bought, the other is the two books with all the discounted sites listed, plus a small booklet with maps showing the location of the sites.

The books you want are the CampingCard ACSI ones..

https://webshop.acsi.eu/en/campingcard-acsi.html

To add to your woes, you might find that not all the sites in the guide you've bought are in the discount scheme..

We are no longer Newbie's.
Is the ACSI card valid from January to December or is it a rolling one for 1 year from the date of purchase?

since 1988 with breaks until 2009
Motorhome and Caravan Club is cheaper..
But not the sites
We use ACSI discount abroad, but always ask the normal rate before asking for Acsi rate, sometimes save a few Euros.
