Just got my 2022 books and card (who needs books?) and they've now got 6 price points with the top one being €22 per night - was 5 and €20 last year. I guess some campsites are trying to recoup lost revenue from last couple of years. Not sure their overheads will have changed that much in that time.

I spotted the additional price point too (online).

Did you get your books from Vicarious? I saw a note from them saying all their new 2022 ACSI guides were stuck in Customs.

Got mine through the post yesterday!

Got mine today in the post direct from Acsi looks like fewer sites in this years book than last years book, just hope we can get over and use it in January 😒

Was always a good scheme....as was Camping Cheque....however annual increases has been a good reason to look at alternatives....a self contained MH pitched up on an Aire/Camperstop with a sea view might cost a few Euros...or even free...this remains the advantage of Motorhoming.....
Leave the campsites to the Campers and Caravanning community...the family holidaymakers who need the pool, on site entertainment and of course security...

I had an email from Vicarious books saying they were stuck somewhere due to Customs. Oh well we weren’t leaving the country in the near future.

Got ours yesterday.

The site in Millau we went to in September weren't in the book this year when we asked why he said it's very expensive for them, but we still got the discount 👍

Overheads will have risen.

The Dutch are paying around €2 a litre for Petrol. Gas prices have risen, electricity costs up.

After being told at several camps site that yes, they do welcome ACSI, but it was cheaper not to use it
First time it happened in Italy I put it down to an anomaly, but then twice again in Germany ..
I have not had the ACSI book since..

Is it ok to buy a Spanish ACSI book and card
It sure is, when I was a regular ACSI user I had a Spanish book and card....we were associated with a local ACSI campsite who were given free copies every year, sometime I even got Dutch a copy...ACSI website became useful then....but the card remains the same.

Hi, my ACSI, books and card arrived in the post a few days ago, does anyone know if you have to pay again for the app, (had the app in 2021) if l open the app now its all in Dutch,

Makes perfect sense. 2 years of reduced revenues means that some cash coming in is vital in order to continue to offer a service. Better to pay a little more and keep the business afloat methinks..

Depends on your subscription. The one I have is a 'combi' which includes the app and which I can download to a number of devices. Cost me €18.95 which includes postage. Suspect anyway they won't open the app up until 2022 arrives. I tried it a few days ago - after receiving the books - and it was AOK. Just tried it tnow and as you say it's all in dutch. I'll wait till 2022 and if it's still in dutch I'll raise a complaint.

I noticed the same with the 2021 book compared to 2020, so it's starting to shrink a little each year. It's a shame as we had good value from ACSI in years gone by but after being unable to use the discount at all this year I haven't renewed for next yet and may not now.

I received our 2022 Acsi books today, which is great, they emailed me in November saying it would be sent, and they have done, without taking payment, their is a letter in the box saying they will take payment later.

Got mine a couple of days ago. Now that we aren't allowed into France, I fear it may be unused for a third year unless things calm down by the Spring.

It will, Chris Whitty says we're just slowing down for a bend in the road but we'll soon be back on track, and the next vaccines will cope much better with any varients. 👍 I actually had the news on for an hour today and didn't get angry 👌😑

It`s defaulted to use Dutch. To change the language you`ll need to log in and click on the 3 bar menu stripes at the top left. From the drop down select "Instellingen" (Settings). The top selection named "Taalkeuze" is the language selector. Click on the drop down box and select "English". Sorted :xThumb:.
