We have an inboard gas cylinder with an external fill-point. The supplied magnetic 'guage' is useless. Can anyone suggest an accurate guage? I have seen gas regulators which include a guage. Are these any good?

Many thanks.

Just get a bluetooth ultrasonic sensor that sticks on the bottom of the bottle. Gas-it sell them, also elsewhere

Our magnetic one from gasit wasn't accurate but perfectly usable! It would read full for ages then suddenly in a day drop to empty when there was still a third of a tank left. Once you know how they work it was pretty good it means if you see it drop to empty on our gas use we had a week or so left so just top up in the nrxt couple of days. We never got caught out.

Mopeka pro is excellent👍😊

Mopeka 024-1001

.I have a pair, one on each 11kg Gaslow bottle. They are very accurate. Look to buy them off Amazon where they are £42.35, where they are significantly cheaper than any of the UK retail sites. I think they are shipped from the US so they will take 2 weeks to arrive.

And black Friday sales are coming, might be some offers

The Mopeka is very good, if the magnetic sensor moves away from the centre then that can affect the accuracy or strength of the signal, which can be seen on the display so you can see it has moved.

Many thanks and it looks like Mopeka gets the vote. Downside is cost but it works so bite the bullet.

Regards and best.
