... he will be putting 'something' in the post tonight by way of a goodwill gesture! He even rang back to double check that someone will be in tomorrow for the delivery!

Seriously though, how can a mattress 'break'? Do you mean its gone saggy/got dips in it?

Are you larger than the average couple? I'm just trying to work out why this has happened as we've never ever had it.

We have a fixed double bed in our van. Being an Autotrail, many on here won't be surprised to hear we have to take turns sleeping on the damp patch.

If you check post #27 of the thread I did explain what happened. Just went suddenly. And although neither of us are skinny I don't think those that have met us would describe us as being particularly larger than average!!!

Cue old joke: They're going to France to see the continent, not Eastbourne to see the incontinent

Glad it got sorted, credit to Bailey. Have a great time

Of course it would be a good thing! Depends where you're going. We are heading strait to our favourite village..Luché-Pringé. Will be there for 2 weeks staying at camping La Chabotiére. Where are you heading?

We are just heading southwards but going for 3 months so not sure exactly where yet. Will have a look and see where you will be on the map.

Bet that the 'something in the post' is a single duvet for the double bed. Glad to see that it all got sorted at the 11th hour. The seven weeks in France will be so much more relaxed now, as long as their fuel stations have fuel that is. At least the roads and traffic are better than over here. Just returned from our six week pre summer stay in Spain and France via the Bilbao ferry. Boy it was getting hot out there. Just a nice cool 23 degrees here today.

I'm intrigued, what 'something' did he put in the post for you. Hope it was worth all the hassle they put you through! Have a great holiday, leaving tomorrow for 7 weeks, very jealous of you!

Hi. When I had a similar issue with my Bailey seats I took them to bel fields and they sorted the problems out directley with me. May be worth a call for any future issues.

Yep.... We have seen a mattress topper in Dunelm that we will get if the mattress doesn't materialise. But I'm liking the idea of an air bed, we might have one that will fit. Cheers!
Make sure it's one that stays up all night...er, can't believe I just said that!

Hi there. I did try ringing Belfield direct but they weren't interested as it was out of warranty. Referred me to my dealer.
