So just under 40 days through France , crossed into Italy by the southern alps , in northern Italy and then the Ancona ferry to Croatia , some sea and sun there and then upto Slovenia (loved it) , then back to northern Italy then the dolomites (beautiful ) and then over the Brenner crossing and a mammoth trip from Fussen to an aire an hour south of Calais .
No mechanical problems at all , some repair to some inside trim , spent a lot on campsites (needed to be by the sea ) and in the dolomites , have one twitchy moment with brake fade coming down the cenis pass , discovered it’s not so pleasant to camp during the heat wave . No security issues , no significant delays anywhere .
Probably stick to the uk next year as there’s loads we haven’t seen and then operation Norway in 2028 .
