Glencoe Mountain Resort having problems with the 'entitled' minority, and may consider withdrawing overnight facilities. I know people on here won't behave like this but if you're members of other groups it's worth passing on I reckon.

A similar thread running here. Just so folk can also see the input there.

I read that on the Van Life FB page , some of the tight wad freeloaders are dumping their crap down the toilets instead of paying the disposal fee and using the appropriate disposal point.
wont be long before these facilities are withdrawn

Thanks - hadn't checked if already posted.

There really are some selfish barstewards about but isn’t that much more the norm these days than how it used to be a generation or so ago!

I’ve read a number of times on here members saying they carry their cassette in a bag to empty in the public toilets, so you can’t say people on here wouldn’t do such a thing ☹️

But generally it's been when there is no suitable Elsan or other purpose-designed facility.

but is, potentially, fouling public toilets any different from fouling public toilets where there are purpose-designed facilities available? Joe Public is still impacted either way and, potentially, gives the motorhome community a bad reputation.

maybe it's a question of whether the toilets are connected to mains drainage or a septic tank. I understand that some chemicals used in cassette toilets can have a detremental affect on septic tanks.
Perhaps the remote location has no mains sewerage.
Not that I agree with tipping the content of your cassette down a toilet - especially if there is a dedicated emptying facility available.
