'A' frame car hire

Somewhere I read, possibly on this forum, a discussion about 'A' frame towing which had some recommendations of suppliers which lead me to a firm, I think in the north of England, that had an 'a' frame fitted car for hire. Anyone know who that is?

Can't see a hire company fitting an A frame.
It would at least need a conformity certificate to comply with the law, and no A frame has one of those.
Construction & use regs would also apply.
