No I'm no expert and wondering people's thoughts here. I have had a battery give off the odour when you know its had it.
Brand new motorhome less than 4 months old. On finding the battery I have to say, it looks more like it should be in the can rather than as a leisure battery with its start stop technology sticker on it.
The battery was super hot so been disconnected whilst I await a 110 ah battery as I feel this would be better suited.
My main thought is here. Does it actually matter that it's not an official leisure battery?

I'm no expert but think they often use AGM batteries as stop start batteries and they can be used as leisure batteries but aren't highly regarded. Why not Google the specific manufacturers website and see if that model is recommended for leisure use.
