That was mine about 16 years ago lived in it for 6 months, sold it when I went travelling for a year. 1965 Kempherink its a Dutch conversion,they were used for cloths vans etc because you could stand up in them and hang the cloths etc, they did the bay window VW also, the tag axcle was added in the 70s and it used to be covered in murals of dinoursous and dark green. I had big plans for it but they never happened due to lack of funds. When I had it there was only two in this country. Last time I saw it was about a year after I sold it down in Newquay looking very sorry for itself. Lots of good memory's though.
Engine in usual place the tag was put in front the back axle, this was not factory fit but had been customised in the seventies. Was ok as long as you never stopped on a big speed hump with front tag as that would leave drive wheels off the ground.Wonder where the engine is on the VW? Normally the extra axle is at the back, but that would make it mid engined.
