Rally 3F's Drax Rally - 31st July to 5th August 2025 - RESERVE LIST CLOSED

If any of the attendees for Drax have it mind to buy a Prostate Cancer T-shirt in Black (original) or White (New!) could we ask that you give us a nod so we can try to make sure we have it in your size for the rally.

Just been watching my video of Drax for each of the last 2 years with mum on a wet afternoon and so looking forward to this years, can it possibly be any better? You keep raising your bar each time Lisa. Not long to go now (y)
We try ;)

Your videos are great Sandra. It's nice to have the memories, as it seems to fly by at the time x

I appreciate this is a bit of a cheeky ask but is any knowledgeable person willing to hard wire in my dash cam whilst I’m at Drax? Happy to offer a case of beer or a bottle of spirit of your choice.
Thanks
Carol

Hi all,

We don't have long to go, so I thought that I would take the opportunity to give a few reminders before the start of the rally.

For those that have not been to Drax before, please ensure that you do not turn into the power station opposite. Security is hot and they won't be very happy with motorhomes pulling in. Please see google pic below to show the entrance is just off of the roundabout.

Please ensure that you arrive with plenty of water. The supply is in an access roadway and it can't be obstructed with vehicles.

If you have any raffle prizes to donate, please bring them into the room in the evening and they will go on a table in the corner. Thank you.

If you have your name down for the Line dancing lesson, please can you pay this on arrival. It's £5 per person.

Please remember to bring £1 per person when you come for the Hog roast buffet. It will be collected when you come into the room.

Don't forget your "Yee Haw" outfit for Friday night, prizes for the best dressed and best dancer.

Looking forward to seeing you all at DRAX :dance2: 🤠 :drinks:

Hi
I’ve never change a roof vent , but have no problems getting onto roof providing you can supervise the installation process,
More than happy to help .
But If you get a better offer from someone else who knows what they are doing then no problems .
Graham
Thanks worst job I scraping old silicon off hopefully there be people with advice if needed

Alb

We have seen Alb about on his roof a few time, and I think that there is more than a bit of ape in his DNA looking at his antics of getting up on his roof. :ROFLMAO:

I’ve discovered that my roof vent is leaking so need to re-seal. I’ve got some sealant and will get a bottle of remover from Screwfix but can someone lend me a ladder whilst at Drax? No need to get on the roof to access so I should be ok 🤞
Garry. You did tell me it would present a problem in the future - I should have done it before now!!!

Andy1954 Thanks for the offer re a ladder. I might have to attempt a fix sooner though as just noticed a damp patch on the ceiling and the laminate front on the side cupboard appears to be lifting😩. As soon as it stops raining and I am home I’ll have to try and sort asap.

Even if you just do a temporary job until it can be done properly Carol would be best what with rain we’re going to have…

Dry it off and stick Gaffer tape around as a temporary fix 😉
