I’ve tried most things to fix the damn thing. 1995/96 Electrolux.
But it just may be a seemingly low gas air flow. It seems to be very very low now. So low that the ignition won’t recognise there is a flame, allowing the spark to stop clicking.
I do have enough gas in the tank. So not a pressure problem.
Appears to be no leaks.
I cleaned the nozzle.
Any ideas gladly received

Are you're saying that the flame goes out when you release the push-in knob?
If that's the case it may be that the thermocouple is faulty or misaligned/misplaced and therefore not in the flame.
You have to hold the knob in when lighting in order to keep the gas supply valve open until the thermocouple heats up and keeps the valve open. The thermocouple is a safety feature so that if at any time the flame goes out the thermocouple will cool and close the gas supply valve.
I assume that by 'cleaning the nozzle' you mean cleaning the jet at the base of the chimney/flue. Did you clean it by poking a very thin piece of wire into the tiny jet hole or did you just wipe around the outside of the jet?

Thanks for the quick reply. There are two “probes” that are above the flame (if only there was a proper flame).
One probe discharges the spark. The other? I have no idea. BUT, the flame coming up from the burner is almost non existent, thus (I presume) the probe that doesn’t dispatch the spark, doesn’t heat up, which would then allow the spark to stop. So, I need a stronger flame, it is practically non existent to nothing. As if there is no gas, or no pressure. But I do have enough gas.

if your not getting full flame its either low gas or the injector is blocked the injector is insidethe burner assembly check out you tube to find how to et to it
