Anybody broke one and how easy is it to replace?
With wheels off can you unbolt the drop links and brackets and pull it through or does the sub frame need dropped as well?

Hi Sandra, our mechanic guy had it up on the lift a couple of days ago and he's not sure if it will come out without dropping the subframe. We're waiting on the part coming back into stock and he'll try with just the wheels off first.

Yip Dane I know we can get the brackets and drop links separately however it's actually the anti-roll bar that's broken so it needs replaced. We'll be doing the brackets and drop links at the same time.

Just as an update.
Finally got the anti-roll bar replaced. This is the "good" end -

and a comparison with the "bad" end -

You can see where it sheared through. Why? No real idea but may have been corrosion finished off with the pothole!

Anyway, replaced with an aftermarket part at around 33% of the OEM but it had to be "fabricated" a wee bit to get proper fitment. Reckon it would have taken half the time to fit the OEM bar but at an material additional cost of £500+.

Sub-chassis did have to be loosened to give clearance for removal.

Anyway, jobs done and on to the next one. When the van was out of storage did all the "pre-season" checks and everything looked OK until checking the Truma Combi. Was working for a wee while and then nothing but that will be subject of another thread. Aren't we lucky that we're not out of lockdown yet so not wasting valuable touring time!
