For Sale:

2011 Peugeot Boxer
based Elddis Autoquest 130. £27500

Euro 4 100bhp Diesel engine, drives perfectly and is in great condition inside and out.
Built on the very reliable Peugeot Boxer chassis, which has had adjustable Air Assisters fitted to the rear axle. The cab has two seats with arm rests, steering wheel controlled (camper ) stereo with Bluetooth DAB/FM transmitter.
The original maximum weight limit was 3300kg, now increased to 3650kg, making it a Private Heavy Goods vehicle (C1 on your licence) although it can easily be reverted to 3500kg for standard car licence users. - see notes below -
Fully laden, it returns over 30mpg, making it very economical on longer journeys.
The habitation area has a large over cab double bed and a 4 seater dinette area that converts to another double bed. The 6 foot bench seat makes a very comfortable single bed too. Seating area uses sprung cushions, not just foam.
Storage includes 3 under seat lockers, 8 over head lockers, a wardrobe, cupboard and drawers. A decent sized sink and prep/draining area is alongside the 3 burner gas hob, above the gas oven with separate grill.
The shower room has a sensible sized toilet with electric flush and 'full' warning light, sink and mirrored bathroom cabinet.
Lighting is all 12v, with a mix of halogen, fluorescent and LED lamps.
The interior benefits from large double glazed acrylic windows and two roof lights, the main one being a large heki, all windows and roof lights have fly-screens and blinds. The main entrance also has a fly-screen.
Power to the habitation area is via a 12v 130ah leisure battery (new Aug 2018). The battery is charged via a dedicated charger when on Electric Hook Up or by the sun courtesy of a larger than average 165w Solar Panel. A Battery Master unit (fitted 2018) also keeps the engine battery topped up, excellent for the months that the van isn't in use.
There is also a 1500w pure sine inverter** fitted to provide 240v when no hook up is available.

Extras fitted by Elddis at time of original purchase:

  • Flyscreen on windows and door.
  • Electric door step
  • Whale Auto fill water connector - allows you to connect to a hose when on site and it'll fill the water tank only when it needs topping up. (Excellent feature often not put on more expensive vans) Also means topping up from a bottle can be done using a 12v submersible pump as it has power built in - also stops automatically!
  • Large Heki rooflight
  • Rear view camera - operates all the time when ignition on.

Also added were:

  • Retractable 'Fiamma' zip awning, with a barely used Fiamma Safari Room included.
  • Fiamma cycle rack, can carry up to 2 bikes to max 60kg or an additional storage box.
  • Directional Digital Aerial
  • External aerial socket for connecting to on-site TV connections.
Standard fitments are:

  • 10 litre gas/electric water heater - very efficient! Heats to 60 degrees on electric or offers adjustable temperature when running on gas.
  • Highly efficient gas/electric Space Heating, thermostatically controlled and blows heating (manual or automatic) into the hab space and wash-room - makes showering very pleasant! 500W, 1000w or 2000w electric, highly variable on gas ??? and very gas efficient.
  • Thetford Oven with separate grill, 3 burner gas hob
  • 240v mains battery charger - keeps hab battery at 14v
  • 12v, 240v or gas fridge - very efficient on all functions.
  • Whale pressurised water system, quick and efficient.
  • 45 litre fresh water tank and 45 litre waste water tank.
  • 3 x single 240v hab area mains sockets
  • 1 x 12v socket
Added since 2016:

  • All single 240v sockets replaced with satin metal double sockets, the one in the TV cupboard has 2 x USB sockets.
  • Widescreen TV/DVD**player into cupboard on a retractable arm.
  • TV signal booster.
  • 14??? 240v remote control swivel fan** fitted above cupboards - can be used when on the move using inverter.
  • Additional single socket in top right kitchen cupboard which currently powers the microwave oven**
  • Battery Master, charges the cab battery.
  • 165w PV panel
  • Adjustable PV Charge/Controller with LCD display.
  • 1500w Pure Sine Inverter** (the safest way of running current sensitive equipment)
  • Cab area - separately switched 12v supply for Dash cam** / Bluetooth DAB/FM transmitter
  • 2 x 6kg refillable (GasIt) bottles supply gas via an automatic change over regulator (all fitted in 2018). Refilling is very cheap and essential for European touring! (Inspection of bottles required 2027) **
  • Dunlop Air Assist - two Air Assisters are fitted in place of the standard rubber spring assisters, these have greatly improved the ride of the van, most noticeably when cornering, at roundabouts or being overtaken. Supplied this year at a cost of ??400, not the cheap eBay ones!
  • Replaced in 2018 - Both Cab (95ah) and Hab (130ah) Batteries.
  • Replaced in 2018 - The original plastic shower tray has been replaced with a bespoke GRP version.
  • Rear parking sensors fitted
  • External 240v socket

  • Replaced in 2018 - New Hab door handle.
  • New in 2017 - Fire extinguishers for kitchen** & cab **
  • And much more....

Note:

  • The Maximum Gross Weight of the van was 3300kg, which left you insufficient payload. The new weight limit is now 3650kg and as this takes it past 3500kg, the van is no longer a Private Light Goods for taxation purposes, but is instead a Private Heavy Goods, which ironically, costs about £60 a year less to tax!
  • The van can only be driven by someone with the C1 entitlement, although it can be brought down to 3500kg at any point.

Mileage is approx 28500.
