Friend is looking at a 2008 Peugeot with a 2,2 diesel engine. Would that be the Ford one that is chain driven ?

Yes, Ford Puma, pretty bombproof if serviced correctly.

Thanks for the replies. When he told me that he had been told it was chain driven I thought that it was the same one that is in my Transit. Cheers again.

I have owned a 2007 Ford Mondeo ST 2.2 estate since nearly new and it is the best car that I have ever had. Very fast, if needed, and great acceleration. A great workhorse for me - had a full load of rubbish to local tip today, and then loaded up with paving slabs and tools, paint and other building items. Also, a Dexion storage rack on roof! My son (lives abroad) drives it when he comes home for a holiday with his family, and is impressed with it’s performance.
