Hi all, has anyone in here replaced ( DIY ) a shower tray on the above model, if so, I'd love your comments, tips, advice, pitfalls ect. Thanks in advance, Sime.

Sorry no experience of having one replaced, we opted for another option and had ours speed coated, that was 4 years ago very happy with the result

Another vote for Speedcoat had ours done six years ago

Go for speedcoat, you won’t regret it. I spent the last 12 years of my life in showertray manufacturing, there’s a lot more to it than you think.

You see my problem isn't just a crack, it's the waste outlet pipe and it's grounds have come away from the tray and dropped down .

I have said many many times that plastic shower trays and plastic wastes are seriously affected by bleach and chemicals put down them, they go brittle and crack. When you get it fixed , warm soapy water, NO chemicals or it will happen again. By the sound of it you will need a new tray and waste.

Speedcoat will repair then treat your shower. That is what the uk owner said to me. Worth asking them.

Not a Hymer but I had the same problem with my Hobby. Broken outlet and cracked tray.
i had to remove the toilet and then cut all the sealant to remove my shower tray.
As an extra I thought about strengthening the new tray with fibreglass on the underside. I went to a fibreglass laminator near me and explained the problem.
The chap had a lot of knowledge on MH shower trays and told me not to bother with fibreglass. He told me to do away with the polystyrene packing below the tray and fit a plywood profile. He said the polystyrene compresses over time and that leads to cracks.
So far all OK now.
Heres a picture of the job in progress.
