I have a solar set up fitted by Vanbitz comprising a 115 watt panel and Victron 75/15 MPPT controller. The panel is the largest Vanbitz could fit and the system has worked fine since fitting about 3 months ago.
I have just bought a 100 watt solar suitcase with PWM controller.
My intention is to wire the suitcase set up direct to my 2 X 100AH lead acid leisure batteries.
My question is will there be any problems using 2 different set ups with different controllers ?

Short answer yes, longer answer as long as your input is captured by any measurement system. Mpppt Controllers are preferred to pwm.Another question to ask could I connect suitcase (before Controller) directly to the victron or buy a larger victron and sell on the 75,15

My answer is no problem
I had exactly the same issue on my PVC, no space for an extra or larger panel.
I have bought a folding 'suitcase' panel complete with it's own PWM controller
It works fine, no conflict with the existing roof panel and it's associated [PWM] controller.

All very simple, cheap & cheerful & it just works.

I've done it too, but the portable panel also has a victron mppt and I connect mine through my victron shunt so everything is still measured

I've been running two parallel 180 watt PWM systems continuously for nearly 3 years with no problems
