Since 2008, with a gap between 2013 and 2018.
We've only ever turned left at calais (Belgium, Holland, Germany), but here we are halfway through France. We're on our way to platja d'aro in Spain.
Loving French roads, even the tolls. Can't imagine sitting on the A303 ever again.👍

Keep going until you see terracotta tiles on the roofs. You can’t beat the Sth of France 🇫🇷

Hiya! Watch the French drivers if you turn off the motorway. IMHO/experience, they can be very bloody-minded in town and it's all about right of way and place on the road! In Spainland, once you go through La Jonquera, there are no more tolls! It all stopped a year ago, so the AP7 is completely free, but expect it to be busy. Depending on where you turn off for Platja d'Aro and if you find yourself on the C-35, be aware of and do not break the speed limit due to a sitting duck speed trap.
When you're there, do visit Lloret de Mar for it's Jardins Botanicals and el Museu de Mar. Tossa De Mar has a great castle and if you get down as far as Pineda de Mar& your van can negotiate small streets, I recommend Area MH Pineda. Xavi (pron Chavi) the owner is v.helpful& likes to practice his English. It is 50m from a fine town beach with a great boardwalk. Here, Pineda is less touristy than adjacent Calella, a cycle/long walk or (potentially free) trainride away with lots of shops and good restaurants/bars. I try to go to Pineda at least once every year!

Thanks, some good info there. Small streets are no problem, as my sister in law and her hubby are following us down on Saturday in their car
