1p mobile Terms and Conditions effective 03 October 2024

I've just been checking my 1p mobile account and have noticed a couple of things.
1:- They have taken 4 months off my next 'need to do a topup'!
2:- Introduced a minimum spend of £10 each 60 days. I'm sure that only fairly recently it was either every 120 days or perhaps every 90 days. Either or both were only Introduced in the not too distant past.
Have I remembered this correctly or am I just having a 'senior moment'??

You used to have to top up a minimum of £10 every 90 days so £40 a year, I had one for a while but it was a waste as I didn't use it enough so I ditched them and got an RWG SIM with 250 free mins /texts/mb a month only having to do one £5 top up which didn't expire so long as I used the SIM within 90 days to keep it active. Unfortunately I don't think the RWG SIM exists now.

The T&Cs for those who had the SIM before the new T&Cs came into play still have 90 day top up requirements I believe.

Anyone who wants a cheap sim should get an O2 123 Classic off eBay, cheap to buy and only top up once with £5.

RWG do a yearly sim. I've just bought one for my tablet. It includes 2 gig which can be used in Europe for £38. I have one in a spare phone that I got last year and was a 2 year sim. I keep this in a spare phone.

Yes but 1p mobile isn't designed for that. 1p per MB under normal terms.

I was going to suggest this. Not sure if the £38 is still available but they do a £45 for a year. There is also a £2 per month sim which seems a bargain for a limited use sim. 100 minutes/100SMS/750MB a month.
