I'm a Newbie
Hi Folks
Greased my axle today. Question is have I put enough in How do you know.

David

1st time i got 20 strokes, this year about 5 you can feel it go firm, at least on mine,

Only supposed to put 5-6 pumps of the grease gun any more and you can pop the seal out on the end of the axle.

I do not know the answer but having just done mine I just kept pumping until I felt resistance on grease gun always done it like that ! would be interested in definitive answer Alco do not say as far as I know

The axle must be jacked up before greasing with wheel off the ground. Bit of a job on tag systems. did our Burstner every year
