1989 Tiffin Alegro. Automatic Box

Hi All.

I'm in need of advise.
I've lost all transmission, possibly the torque converter has failed.
Can anyone give me a rough cost to rebuild? Many thanks in advance. Rob

I went for a look for details to help, but as you know the Tiffin Allegro is generally built on the American Chevrolet chassis. An RV specilalist should be able to source parts

My first RV a Tiffin Allegro on 6.5l Chevy V8 T Diesel. Unfortunately cannot help with problem.

I had a a 1987 Allegro, on a GM chassis which had a 2 speed box, like an overdrive on all 3 speeds. behind the auto box, this was prone to dropping into neutral at times, until I fitted some magic electronic gizmo I got from the states.

The Allegro name is partly obscure by the BBQ door

ps Our next MH was a Chausson Allegro 96
