Iam struggling with mobility and have difficulty in lifting heavy water containers to refill and don’t want to move the van every time I need some water so I am looking for a submersible pump that will allow me to pump from an aqua roll into the MH. We don’t have the 12v feed to the water inlet and we’re not that clever in adding one either, so think the next best thing would be to buy one of the submersibles, but all the ones I’ve seen have only a 1 metre length of cable. I want to be able to take it to a 12v socket which is about 3 metres through a window in the van or to insert it into the 12v cab socket which is further again. We’re not able to rewire with a longer cable either. Do any of our trade guys have anything that might do the job or could I ask kind funsters to locate one for me. I’ve spent about an hour and nothing with length of cable. Thank you muchly.

Aren’t you lovely, thank you very much. What a very kind offer. I will, if you don’t mind, see if one comes through with one that is already set up, saves you the trouble hopefully. I may be in contact soon.

Thank you again for the offer

I bought one from Amazon earlier this year for exactly the same reason you gave. Mine has 4 metres of cable and has an inline switch which enables me to switch it off immediately if necessary. 4 of us have used it regularly whilst on the continent this month.

Found one, I initially avoided those as it said oil etc. But looking properly it does say water too. I will be sending for one. Thank you folks, particularly Mike800966 for his very kind offer.

Glad you are sorted Caggsie1 - checked my Amazon history and it says currently out of stock - shame as it is a great bit of kit and is very fast at transferring the water from an aqua roll to my onboard tank.

Thanks Sundowners we have a couple of those too. Will further investigate me thinks that opens up more options. Didn’t enter my head, dozy women I am!

Here you go - with a 3m cable:-

Or cheaper if you can wait for it to come from China:-

I've got something similar myself that I made up, with a bit of hose attached to it with a hose connector on the end and one of the Heos water connector caps on the van, works a treat. I keep it for when my hosepipe won't reach from tap to van, I have a 25ltr carrier with wheels for water.
