The 12v lights in the front half of the van have packed up. Got the book out and it said check 12v mcb but does not tell you where they have hidden them in the van. Found the 240v mcb in wardrobe. We have a auto sleeper reinza . Any ideas please. Cheers

Colyn what power supply unit do you have? It will possibly be a fuse.

After searching the van it reinforces my view that you need an ology in engineering to be a motorhomer. Good job we are all different how techno 100 enjoys all that stuff he does is beyond me. Haha.

Hi Phil . I took that plastic cover thing off the back of the panel that has the switches for lights, hot water etc and all I could see was a mass of wires. Like a bowl of spaghetti . At this point I should say I am colour blind . Haha. And tone deaf as well.

He ( @Techno100 ) enjoys it because he's good at it and he's good at it because he enjoys it. I know many who enjoy that sort of work but I don't know many who's work looks that neat afterwards.

I served my time at Vosper Thornycroft Boat Builders and one of my first jobs was doing the wiring for the Chilian Navy Gun Boats. That was spaghetti junction at its best. You will have 12v fuses for your lights normally located within your power control charge system but unfortunately not always. This can be located under a bench seat. Happy Hunting best of luck.
Phil.

Hi, found some fuses under the drivers seat for what they are I have no idea. I replaced them all with new fuses and it made no difference. One thing this has confirmed selling after the Lincoln show is the right thing to do. It's ment to be enjoyment not aggro.

Where you plug in your EHU is there a couch near if so check that your EC325 or whatever is not located there.

In the wardrobe is the 240 mcb. The back of the panel with a mass of wires. There is nothing under the 2 bench seats that make the bed. The fuses under the drivers seat were 3 together then 1 on its own. Think I should of sold before the show, haha. It's pissing down in Lincoln to add to the enjoyment at the moment.

The 3 fuses under the seat are probably for your hab / cab batteries. I have one under the drivers seat for the hab bat.
What control unit do you have? ie Sargent

1 of the fuses must have something to do with the radio as its now flashing code on the screen in the dashboard . I will give that a miss and drive in silence, haha. Let me win the lottery and I will just get a taxi everywhere , much easier.

Do you have a control panel near or above the hab door? Something like this.

No, nothing above the door. You would think it should be standard like houses where you have fuses etc. I can see me having to pay someone to show me where they are. Like I say it goes after the show I find the technical stuff involved in motorhomes to much for me, and it's not what I call enjoyment.
