swift sundance 630g
Hi all away at min with no multi meter so limited fault finding, 230 side on hook up fine 24 v seems not to be working as I have a fridge fan and is working and a 12 volt socket that works when on ehu , checked fuses under bonnet fine any others I can check or anything I can check without meter? It’s a swift sundance 2004 if that helps.

What does the 24 volt do?

We had a fuse box under the dinette seat on a 2007 Sundance, you must have a fuse box somewhere in the hab area or MCB switches.that you can check.

I have a fuse box for 240v side and I think the 12 volt is under the bonnet, checked the ignition on the cooker isn’t working as well, turns the engine on still nothing and nothing lights up could it be a relay? Any other tests I will see what works on 12volt and what doesn’t

It runs a usb and fridge fans none of it working which it usually does on 240 v when plugged in ,

You must have fuses inside or in a locker they wouldn’t all be in engine compartment you might have one on the battery

Usb is 5 volt  I think there is some confusion here, how do you get your 24 volt, join your batteries together or what?

Fellow Swift Sundance owner here . The wiring is generally undersized on British made vans , particularly from Swift .
I’ve had multiple problems with our 2006 Sundance . It will probably be something like a wire cut from the metal staples they use to secure the wiring looms .

I’ve a usb for charging separately that works when on ehu and when on battery I, I took off ehu and lights working on battery,I’ve a 12 v cigarette adapter that plugs into an adapter for 12 volt that I plug in for more charging like phones etc all stopped working. I’m in France at moment will do some digging when I get more tools available. It’s done it before but remixes it’s self after a while?

I do not know if it is the same as yours but there is a wiring diagram for the 2002/2003 Sundance in the Resources section , manuals for Motorhome stuff (top line of this page) and that shows underbonnet fuses and relays + other fuses inside the habitation area. The other thing it shows is a EMC relay that could be the cause of the problem

What’s an emc ? 3 relays in the engine bay but that must be working as lights work off ehu, I will have look tomorrow, to hot to do anything

There is another fuseboard for the 12v in the hab area, usually fairly close to the leisure battery, but not always

is there some more fuses under the bonnet near the scuttle on the passenger side under a black cover, my 2003 bessacar has

I think that may be a typo, I think he meant 240 volt but missed out the 0 and hasn't realised.

Yeah I thought that as well but he does say the 230 is working but the 24 not.

It’s ok found another set of fuses all working now should of been 12 volt 😀😀
