I have bought a 100 watt solar suitcase with a cheap Chinese PWM controller.
I know that MPPT controllers are more efficient.
Do you think I would see any gain replacing the cheap Chinese PWM with a cheap Chinese MPPT controller ?

Don't know if there is such a thing as cheap mppt controller. Some say mppt when they aren't. Have you got a link to the one you're thinking of?

Peak output will be about the same. MPPT gives a bit more output when conditions are less than ideal. Like cloudy or when the sun is lower. Percentage wise it can be a fair bit better, but only when there's less total watts to work with. So the difference over a day might not be that great.

If it's an additional solar panel to your existing ,I dont think you would gain much by changing the pmw to an mppt.you should be gaining more advantage by making sure you track the sun with your portable panel.

Fair enough (y).
I have a Victron solar set up installed by Vanbitz. I bought the solar suitcase to see if I can get a few more amps to allow me stay off EHU slightly later and earlier in the year as Vanbitz could only fit a 115 watt panel on my roof.

"10-100A 12V/24V Auto Solar Panel Charge Controller Regulator Dual Mppt"
The above is what the eBay ad says ?
It also includes details for charging Lithium, and then later in the advert states " not suitable for lithium"!
