Well done and keep at it. I have managed 107 miles this week. I suspect we would all go further if we could stop and have a coffee and cake half way through......

Been a good year so far.....and getting better all the time.

1st March to 29th March 2019, Me? 69yrs 10mths at the time.
Thanks to this %^&$£& virus I don't think I'll get on the next one, planned???? for Jan/Feb 2021 Camino via de la Plata, Seville to Santiago 1000 kms.
We'll see!

That's a lot of walking. All circular route.

Is that a Camino?
Was into hiking in the past. But then we moved to the Highlands and didnt have the time?

You always have the time. It only takes you??????? As long as you want to make it. The Spanish do it a week at a time.. There's no start date, no one timing you and only one finishing line.

Edited, just twigged you were talking about cycling.

I'm doing 5km a day walking round and round on a roof terrace somewhere in Murcia, Spain!

Not totally legal, hence the "somewhere" comment.

We’ve cycled 120k this week and walked 55k, next week’s a decent forecast so looking forward to getting some more k’s under the boots/wheels (y)

Yeah circular route. Clockwise one day then anti-clockwise the next. Had a day off the walking today there are too many people around at the weekend for me. During the week I usually see around three people. Today I have seen loads going up toward the moor. Roll on Monday.

I didn't know they were on about cycling too.
You could still do the Camino de Santiago on a bike.!

Right going to forget about speed today and just go on a long for me ride.
Not that I go that fast anyway. One problem I dont know the area were in.

Have a look at Komoot. You can plot a route and download it to your phone so that it guides you like a satnav. It's also free for the area you are in.

Neil Bedwin thanks will give it a go. I can plan them on Google maps. It's more the elevation. But guess not knowing is part of the fun.

Should be over 1,000km this month as for some reason i've had time on my hands:unsure: honest gov i've been working from my office all the time....
Need some more uphill stuff and the weight will come down:cycle:

For those not joined, check out the MHF group over on Strava, there must be 20 (checked it's 40) in the group now, pretty active lot as well.

Good job it’s only 1hr exercise a day

I think people need to familiarise themselves with both what the legislation says and how the Police have chosen to interpret that legislation, not how the Daily Wail has reported it.

Amongst the things deemed reasonable by the National Police Chiefs Council are:

Going for a run or cycle or practicing yoga. Walking in the countryside or in cities. Attending an allotment.
Driving to countryside and walking (where far more time is spent walking than driving).
Stopping to rest or to eat lunch while on a long walk.
Exercising more than once per day - the only relevant consideration is whether repeated exercise on the same day can be considered a ‘reasonable excuse’ for leaving home.

Well hopefully everybody in the country will take the same sensible precautions, go out and do as much exercise as they want then we can all wave goodbye to this stupidly contagious Virus (I am sure there is plenty of room out there somewhere for all of us).

Personally I prefer to look at what the restrictions are meant to achieve rather than the precise terminology and how it could be interpreted (just my view I am sure others may feel differently)

As has been said on a different thread. 1 hour exercise in London means avoiding thousands of people. 1 hour exercise around here means waving to another cyclist every 45 mins. Can't make rules to cover all eventualities.....
Most people are being sensible. Those that aren't wouldn't no matter what the rules were.

Anyway, second ride of the week today, and the hundred miles in a week done. It is such a joy to be riding on almost car free roads even with the eternal headwind that seems to permanently accompany me.

I thought that was my head wind, it's been following me around all week:LOL:

It doesn't get much better for cycling though, great weather and quiet roads(y)
