Walberswick Common Carpark.

General Information

Large carpark next to the river, some pubs and eateries but not much in Walberswick its self. Nice spot to just chill or if your feeling energetic walk up the river and cross over into Southwold via the old railway bridge, the Southwold to Halesworth was a narrow gauge line (3') which closed in 1929. https://www.southwoldrailway.co.uk/history/
You can also take the foot ferry across the river where you will be rowed across in a small rowing boat.

A favourite day trip of ours in the mhome, they normally put us over to the left hand side of the road which I believe is for overflow and normally empty.
Lovely small village with a couple of nice pubs, nice walks including by the river, a nice beach and harbour entrance with Southwold on the other side and a rowing boat ferry across summer only I believe .
Also great for children crabbing.
